Consultants honoured in NCE/ACE Consultants of the Year awards 2011 The annual NCE/ACE Consultants of the Year awards were presented at a gala ceremony at Claridge’s Hotel on 25 May.  WSP was named as International Consultant of the Year, Mace won the major consultant category, while Hilson Moran was named top medium-sized firm. For the first time, the awards contained a category for small firms.  The inaugural award was won by Guildford-based Hewson Consulting Engineers. Atkins won the Outstanding Achievement award for their work on South Africa’s Gautrain rapid rail link. Nelson Ogunshakin OBE, ACE chief executive, said: “I would like to congratulate all of the winners.  We are pleased to support the NCE/ACE Awards as they showcase the best that our industry offers.  Our long-standing partnership with NCE is highly effective in this regard, and I hope that this continues into the future.”
