Consultants of the Year Awards 2010
This year’s prestigious Young Consultant of the Year Award has been won by Nariba Gittens, a graduate engineer with Halcrow. Nariba was selected from a shortlist of four excellent nominees that includes one of her Halcrow colleagues.
The awards also recognised the outstanding work of WSP’s post-tsunami Banda Aceh reconstruction team. Their work to build thousands of homes in a devastated part of Indonesia saw them win the Outstanding Achievement Award.
Amey took home the Consultants of the Year Major Firm award while Mott MacDonald was named International Firm of the Year for the third year running. The Medium Firm of the year award went to environmental specialist JBA which has weathered the economic downturn to continue to thrive.
The award lunch at Claridges in London were sponsored by ACE affiliates Beale and Company, BST Global and Griffiths & Armour.
The NCE/ACE Consultants of the Year Awards, organised in conjunction with New Civil Engineer magazine, are made in the spring of each year and bring together the country’s top consultants to celebrate the best of the industry. Awards are presented for Major, Medium and International Consultant of the Year along with Young Consultant of the Year and the Outstanding Achievement Award.
