Engineering the UK’s Prosperity
ACE’s 2010 UK general election manifesto
The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) has launched its manifesto, Engineering the UK’s Prosperity, to coincide with the unofficial launch of the general election campaign.
The manifesto sets out how the consultancy and engineering industry can support the UK’s return to growth.
Developed through extensive discussions and consultation with ACE member companies, the manifesto addresses various sectors such as energy, transport and water as well as looking at the economy, investment and sustainability.
Each section provides recommendations for policymakers as part of ACE’s ongoing dialogue on behalf of its membership.
The manifesto sets out a range of measures that will ensure that engineering plays a central role in the UK’s response to the challenges of economic recovery and climate change.
