Dee Doocey joins ACE Advisory Board

Issued: 27 May 2010

Dee Doocey has joined the Association of Consultancy and Engineering’s Advisory Board.  Mrs Doocey is this year’s chair of the London Assembly and one of its Liberal Democrat elected members.

Mrs Doocey has been election agent to Dr Vince Cable, who is now the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and President of the Board of Trade.

Sir Michael Latham, ACE Advisory Board chair, said: “The members of the ACE Advisory Board and I are all delighted to welcome Dee.  The ACE Advisory Board acts as a sounding board on industry, political and economic issues for ACE.  Dee is a significant voice in London and I know will make a superb contribution to the Advisory Board and the work that ACE does.”

Mrs Doocey’s interests include a lasting legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the regeneration of communities and a safe, affordable and more reliable transport system.

Nelson Ogunshakin, ACE chief executive, said: "On behalf of the ACE Board, I am very glad to welcome Dee and look forward to working with her in the future.  In the next few years London will be a huge focus for the consultancy and engineering sector as we see the development of Crossrail and the realisation of the Olympic project."
