Cavendish Engineers hosted a Low Energy Cleanrooms and Controlled Environments Conference at London's Institute of Directors on April 20.

Delegates attended from a diverse range of industries including; Building Services, Facilities Management, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Healthcare and Banking.

Six seminars took place throughout the day and topics covered included; how to start planning a controlled environment project, the importance of measuring,  what technology to consider, data centre technology and pay backs, free cooling and the different chiller applications, humidity, it's purpose and effective control in challenging environments and LED lighting, putting light on the subject.

Speakers provided a series of examples which created an open debate amongst speakers and delegates.

Lizzie Phillips, Event Manager from Cavendish Engineers commented "The feedback we received from delegates was that they found the conference really useful so it's a great way to kick off our other engineering subject related conferences and seminars."

The event was also partnered with on365, Humideco, APC by Schneider Electric, LSii Europe and Airedale, who all gave well received seminars.
