ACE Regional Charter

ACE is committed to developing and raising the profile of ACE in the English regions, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. This charter outlines the commitment of ACE to provide services and support for ACE members through a regional strategy by:

  • Connecting with member firms in the regions, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, creating a regular dialogue with these companies
  • Connecting with non member firms in the regions, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales and encourage their participation in ACE activities and membership of ACE
  • Developing a programme of regional activities for ACE and promote these events to colleagues in the region
  • Keeping abreast of and ahead of regional changes and identify the key priorities facing ACE members' businesses in each of the regions, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales
  • Assessing the impact of regional changes and spending plans on ACE members and develop strategies to address these impacts.

All of these activities will be undertaken with strategic assistance and advice from the ACE membership and regions director, supported by ACE's headquarter offices in London. Members of ACE will form regional groups, elect officers, hold regular meetings and administer and organise these meetings. ACE members will maintain professional and ethical standards and exercise their professional skill and judgement and discharge their professional responsibilities by:

  • Representing ACE on key regional industry and business bodies
  • Providing inputs for a regional bulletin for the consultancy and engineering sector
  • Developing effective relationships with other key professional and industry bodies
  • Identifying and developing relationships with key regional stakeholders including the RDAs and Regional Transport Boards
  • Connecting with key clients and work with ACE on the development of a regional directory to promote ACE members in the region.
