  ACE congratulates John Cridland CBE on his appointment as CBI director-general

The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) congratulates John Cridland CBE on his appointment as director-general of the CBI.

 

As deputy director-general, John Cridland spearheaded the CBI’s policy and membership activities.  He succeeds Richard Lambert, who will step down in early 2011.

 

Nelson Ogunshakin OBE, ACE chief executive, said: “On behalf of the membership of ACE I congratulate John for stepping up to this role.  I am sure that he has the skills and experience to ensure that the voice of the British business is heard at the heart of government. 

 

“This is a challenging time for the UK business community.  ACE will offer its full support to John in this important role.”
