Building a sustainable Britain:
Engineering must lead the recovery
ACE North East
Tuesday 10 November 2009
Malmaison Hotel, 104 Quayside, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 3DX
6.00pm - 8.30pm
At some point in the next 12 months we will see the economy pick up. We need to make sure that our industry is well placed for the upturn, and even when the green shoots come though there will be challenging times and tough decisions that still lie ahead.
Britain relies heavily on the consultancy and engineering industry. ACE believes that by investing in key areas, such as transport, energy, skills and green technology, this will help to build a sustainable economy.
ACE will continue to work closely with the govenment, national assemblies and key agencies to help deliver the infrastructure network that Britain needs.
Throughout November Geoff French, ACE Chairman and Nelson Ogunshakin, ACE Chief Executive will be traveling to your region to discuss the issues that your businesses are facing, and also what ACE can do to support and help lead the way to building an sustainable Britain.
