A £196 million regeneration project will see the transformation of an estate in Southall, west London.
Catalyst Housing has been selected along with the Leadbitter Group to transform the Havelock Estate by providing 904 new homes, including 372 for existing tenants, 105 shared ownership and shared equity properties and 427 new homes for outright sale.
Other works include new park areas and landscaping along the estate's canal to increase the amount of public open space.
Ealing Council ran the tendering process for the project and lead member for housing, Hitesh Tailor, said the scheme was about creating a more pleasant environment for people to live in.
"Ealing's commitment to homes for social rent goes beyond bricks and mortar," he said.
"We listen carefully to residents aspirations for skills, training and fostering a real sense of community."
Rod Cahill, chief executive of Catalyst Housing, added that the regeneration would be "great" for residents.
