A £5 million 41-home development at Treuddyn in Flintshire, north Wales is set to go ahead after a contractor was found.
The build was negotiated through the Syniad Consortium development framework and the Pennaf Housing Group has appointed Lovell to carry out the work.
Of the 41 homes, 16 will be two, three and four-bedroom affordable houses for social rent, plus two bungalows and the remaining 23 will be two and three-bedroom properties for open-market sale.
Funding for the scheme has been secured by Flintshire County Council through a Welsh government social housing grant (SHG), with the remainder of their cost being put up by Pennaf.
Speaking about the development, Lovell regional director Nigel Yates said: "We are delighted to continue our successful working relationship with Pennaf through this important new scheme which will help answer the need for new affordable and open market housing locally."
In Wales, SHGs fund housing schemes that address local needs and priorities as determined by the local authority.
