The developers of Europe's tallest building, the Shard, are reportedly adding the finishing touches to a £50 million penthouse covering the 64th and 65th floors.
Equivalent in size to a six or seven-bedroom house, the penthouse will command 360-degree views of the London skyline and feature a cavernous dining hall with gallery, the Evening Standard reports.
It is one of ten luxury apartments being constructed between the 53rd and 65th floors and a source told the paper that standards of comfort will be “uncompromised”.
The source added: “Nobody has tried to do something as uncompromising as this on this sort of scale.”
Buyers will be able to express their interest in the properties once the Shard is officially inaugurated by the Qatari prime minister and Prince Andrew on July 5th.
Back in April, the Shard topped out at its record-breaking height of 310m (1,017ft) after the steelwork comprising its spire was lifted into place.
